The Scala was the first show and just like the late and great Ossie Clark, I too had my show at midnight.

The stories from that show and many more surreal events will be available in AN EVENING WITH FRANK. All going well with the publishing house and legal team should have sorted out their dilemmas, it will be available for your grubby little hands in 2018.

Opening Night at the Camden Palace with Barbra Fredericks, 1982

The opening night of the Camden Palace, hosted by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan. Little did I know that the owner’s wife would make a bee line for me, we became instant friends and she a client. Two years was spent in that wonderful club before the Hippodrome opened. As you can see I'm wearing a bunch of roses on my head, 15 years later that hat would appear again but by another designer. Fashion editor Bernadine Morris of the New York Times wrote ‘Mr. Swift thinks 6 years in advanced’, this was and is true. At the time it had not occurred to me. I have had clashes.
